Italian Sausage in Chardonnay

Easiest recipe for the buffet table!

Ingredients
  

  • 5 lb Italian sausage sweet or mild
  • 1 Bottle Chardonnay
  • Mustard for Dipping

Instructions
 

  • Cut each sausage link into 4 pieces
  • Place in oven proof and cover with white wine
  • Cover and bring to a boil.
  • Once boiling reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for 40 minutes or until fully cooked, stirring occasionally
  • Once cooked thru spoon onto a rimmed sheet pan lined with foil. You can broil or 2-3 minutes or pop into oven at 400° until browned and maybe even a bit crunchy on the ends.
  • Remove to serving dish , allowing to cool slightly. Serve with mustard dipping sauce
