Jalapeno Hard Candy

Little bites of spiciness

Ingredients
  

  • 10 fresh Jalapenos with seeds
  • 1/4 Cup Water
  • 1 1/3 Cup Granulated Sugar
  • 3/4 Cup Light Corn syprup

Instructions
 

  • Lightly spray sheet pan and 2 plates with oil.
  • In a blender, puree jalapenos and water until liquid. Measure out 1/2 cup and you may discard the rest.
  • Combine jalapeno liquid with sugar and corn syrup in a medium saucepan with a heavy bottom. Boil until thickened and 'hardened' Warning do not burn
  • Pour liquid onto prepared sheet pan and allow to cool slightly.
  • Using a spoon scoop small pieces of the candy and place on the prepared plates.
  • Let cool and store in air tight containers in the fridge.
